In 2134, a thick black-and-crimson fog known as the Crimson Fog Sea swept across the world. The world humanity depended on was divided into countless lost islands.
To survive, humanity began searching for a way through the dense fog, rebuilding connections between the islands. The brave souls who ventured across the Crimson Fog Sea, cleared the many dungeons hidden in the mist, and sought ways to keep the flame of humanity alive were known as Fogwalkers.
Pei Zhenlin was an upstanding young woman who believed in the five virtues, four beauties, and three loves. She resolutely joined the expedition to explore the Crimson Fog Sea.
