I Opened a Chinese Restaurant in a Famine Apocalypse

An Ran is in the middle of graduate school graduation season.

With every advantage stacked in her favor, she receives a lucrative part-time job offer from the System.

After much thought, she decides that instead of giving in to sadness, she might as well go all in.

And so she arrives in an apocalyptic alternate world and begins her daily life working at a Chinese restaurant.

An Ran accepts a job offer from the management System and is randomly sent to a famine-ravaged apocalypse overrun with mutated plants and animals.

System: Please choose an apocalyptic business model.

An Ran: Chinese restaurant.

In this famine-ravaged apocalypse, the land is mutated and the water is polluted.

Every plant and animal here is mutated, and every one of them is humanity's enemy.

Hungry humans smell the sweet aroma of roasted sweet potatoes and grow wary.

Wounded humans on the brink of death smell roast meat and grilled fish and are left bewildered.

Humans struggling desperately to survive catch the spicy aroma of hot pot and skewers, and drool so much they practically cry.

An Ran: I knew it! No one can resist the charm of a Chinese restaurant!

Here, food does more than fill your stomach: it also works like health and mana potions.

Here, food is not only delicious, it can even grant people supernatural powers!

"Sob! Boss, did you come down here especially to save us?" her customers ask, tears in their eyes.

"No, I just want to get rich overnight," An Ran replies with a faint smile, her eyes full of longing for money.
