On the seventh day of being hunted down by his three older brothers, Cheng Lingxun had nowhere left to turn and hid in Eden. Someone told him that if he wanted to stay alive, he should find "Mad Rabbit." As long as the price was right, Mad Rabbit could get anything done.
Mad Rabbit? That guy was either a complete idiot or a genius.
That was what Cheng Lingxun thought, until he saw Li Jingbai in the lowest level of Eden.
He was a handsome man with red lips and bright teeth.
Cheng Lingxun stared at the smiling eyes beneath Li Jingbai's fringe, his Adam's apple bobbing involuntarily.
"Let's talk business first, then we can discuss the price."
The man's smoky, sexy voice was completely at odds with his appearance.
"Help me kill three people."
"Tell me what kind of people."
Cheng Lingxun pushed over a silk handkerchief bearing his family's crest.
Li Jingbai glanced at it and crossed his legs. "That'll cost a lot. Can you afford it?"
Cheng Lingxun stood up and tossed everything valuable he had in front of Li Jingbai, one item at a time.
Wallet, card holder, sports car keys, watch, bloodstained designer suit... until all he had left on was a pair of boxer briefs.
Li Jingbai chuckled. "Still not enough, young master!"
Cheng Lingxun bent down and pulled a USB drive from the sole of his boot.
Li Jingbai fixed his gaze on the glinting silver, his smile fading.
"You're one of the first to be punished, aren't you? I can help you break the database restrictions," Cheng Lingxun said.
Li Jingbai sat up straight. He licked his lower lip, looking almost desperate. "...Damn it, I'd almost forgotten about that."
"What should you call me now?" Cheng Lingxun put away the USB drive.
"Young Master," Li Jingbai said respectfully.
Cheng Lingxun frowned.
"Boss," Li Jingbai offered instead.
Cheng Lingxun gave no sign of approval or disapproval.
"Master?" Li Jingbai raised an eyebrow.
Cheng Lingxun smiled. "I like that one."
