Vasant is an ordinary Gotham resident with both parents and a happy family. His only regret is that he can't leave Gotham.

Whenever he tries, all kinds of bizarre misfortunes befall him.

He thought that if he just stayed in Gotham and kept his head down, he could live a peaceful life to old age. But things didn't go the way he expected.

An incident with the Court of Owls at home left him waking up somewhere other than Earth. And not only that, he had gone from a lazy, refined six-foot-two man to a tiny four-foot-three kid.

"So you're saying this is the Astral Express? The kind that can fly through space?" Vasant stood in the elegantly decorated carriage, looking bewildered. "Can I still get back to Earth?"

Was he supposed to perform a number called "Mom, I'm Going to Travel Far Away" here?

The Dark Knight, Batman, noticed that something was off in Gotham at night. Black Mask's operation had been wrecked, and eyewitnesses said the culprit was a skilled, punk-looking dwarf.

The Joker in Arkham Asylum was inexplicably beaten up, while the Penguin had a shipment stolen during one of his rare outings.

Incidents like these kept happening.

A newcomer of unknown identity and intent turned Gotham upside down, dancing all over Batman's trigger points.

Then one day, Batman chased the newcomer he'd been pursuing through the streets, who had been deliberately avoiding him.

Right in front of him, the newcomer's body suddenly grew taller, taking on the appearance of Vasant, who was staying at Wayne Manor.

"..." Batman fell silent.

"Uh, hi?" Vasant awkwardly scratched his forehead.
