Silent Plum Rains

More than ten years later, after her mother's "accidental" death, she returned to the old hometown where the rain never seemed to stop.

Everyone said it was an accident. Only the diary her mother left behind seemed to hint at the truth:

"Lately, I keep dreaming of her, on the other side of the river. Will I be next?"

To find the answers, she had no choice but to draw close to the woman she had once looked up to, and resented...

In the rain-soaked town, they were each other's only ally, and the only light they had in their desperate circumstances.
