My Inner Thoughts Became My Cold Boss's Screensaver

Self-taught romantic · poker-faced boss lady & shamelessly flirty, clueless younger woman

[Blurb]:

Xi Huaiyue realized something seemed to be wrong with her phone.

When she woke up in the morning, her lock screen had inexplicably changed to a passage of text. It only appeared once, though. When she opened it again, everything was back to normal.

"The boss lady made us have a meeting before we got off work. It was quick, but I almost missed the chance to grab concert tickets!!!

If her face weren't so gorgeous, I'd be mad for at least two minutes!"

Whose prank was this?

That was her first thought.

But... it seemed more like a diary entry, or a private thought?

Xi Huaiyue remained unfazed as she thought back to the people who had attended yesterday's meeting.

Going by the tone, the first face that came to mind was a pair of sparkling eyes. Cute, and newly hired straight out of college: Chu Ning.

Could it be her?

During the midday tea break, Xi Huaiyue posted an order link in the group chat and asked everyone to choose the milk tea, coffee, and little cakes they wanted.

She would cover the cost as an apology for yesterday's two minutes of overtime.

The next morning, right on time, she woke up and opened her phone.

"I had the most delicious lemon bavarois yesterday!!!

That shop is so expensive, I've never been able to bring myself to buy anything there. I can't believe I got to enjoy it thanks to the boss lady. My amazing boss even apologized for making us work two extra minutes. I'm going to love her forever QAQ"

So it really was her.

Xi Huaiyue raised an eyebrow, saved a screenshot, then messaged the subordinate in charge of training Chu Ning:

"Tell the new girl that from today on, I'll be mentoring her myself."

What would she say tomorrow?

Xi Huaiyue was curious.
