The Nine-Thousand-Year-Old

Top: The Nine-Thousand-Year-Old

The emperor's henchman and the leader of the Dragon Guard, he holds immense power at court and possesses unfathomable martial skills. His methods are ruthless, and he is sinister and cruel, having slaughtered countless people. Everyone fears him. He may appear to bask in glory, but behind his back everyone spits and curses him, saying that the eunuch dog deserves a terrible death.

He is utterly alone, without family or friends, with no weaknesses or vulnerabilities.

His only flaw, according to rumors, is that the Nine-Thousand-Year-Old likes young, handsome men.

Bottom: A beautiful prince who plays the fool to outwit his enemies

The emperor's younger brother, he watched his mother die at the hands of the emperor and empress dowager. He has endured humiliation for years to seek revenge, and survived the fight for the throne by putting on a sweet and foolish act. He seems like a pretty, useless little prince whom everyone looks down on, but in truth he is cunning and calculating. He has patiently bided his time for years, bent on avenging his mother and even scheming to seize the world.

To win the greatest source of support in the realm, the little prince takes a dangerous gamble: seducing the eunuch dog everyone dreads.
