Back Before My Parents Fell in Love [Millennium-Era Crime Investigation]

A murder took place on a university campus.

The victim's body was found in exactly the same condition as that of the female student murdered in a sensational case twenty years ago.

Back then, the "murderer" who was nailed to the pillar of shame was Wu Miaoyi's late father.

To find out the truth, Wu Miaoyi went to the Public Security Bureau to ask about the case. There, she unexpectedly ran into a victim's family member who had lost control of their emotions, and a sharp knife plunged into her chest.

When she opened her eyes again, the calendar on the wall clearly read: November 15, 2005.

Had she actually transmigrated back twenty-one years?

This year, her parents hadn't even started dating yet.

This year, her mother hadn't yet been cursed as the wife of a murderer.

Wu Miaoyi made up her mind: even if it meant never being born, she would put an end to her parents' doomed relationship before it began!

As she frantically tried to sabotage her parents' dates, the police officer Zhou Shuyan, who had been stabbed alongside her, watched her with an amused smile.

"Classmate Wu, to stop your parents from dating, you even stole the principal's wig?"

"Shut up and help me block the way. My mom's coming."

Two eccentric "detectives" appeared on campus.

The missing class fund case, the stray cat and dog killings, the disappearance of a bun shop employee...

Back then, Wu Miaoyi's father had been judged the real culprit because of eyewitness testimony and a confession. The crucial evidence that could have cleared his name had burned to ashes in a fire.

This time, Wu Miaoyi and Zhou Shuyan broke into the abandoned old school building before the fire started and dug half of a bloodstained button, left behind by the killer, out of a crack in the floor.

They pored over paper records from before the days of the internet and pieced together the "perfect masquerader" hiding on campus from the victim's diary.

They set a series of traps, forced the real culprit to expose their flaws step by step, and pinned them down with an irrefutable chain of evidence!

Wu Miaoyi dusted off her hands, ready to leave now that the case was solved, but Zhou Shuyan cornered her against a wall. "Classmate Wu, now that the case is solved, shouldn't you consider me?"

Practical Guide:

1. Unhinged yet clear-headed heroine x scheming, devoted hero. Both transmigrate.

2. Suspense and deduction come first. Their feelings grow as they fight side by side.

3. One-on-one, both each other's first, happy ending. The two timelines in the future end in death, but change due to the past timeline.
