Synopsis
Blurb
An honest-but-cheating type, or a devious-but-devoted type?
The heroine is an extroverted, emotionally draining personality who often fails to meet moral standards. You can tell from the very first chapter.
The male lead is a dragon-shaped alien. There are two of them.
Story
Yi Qiaoxian got drunk. When she woke up, she found herself lying in the bed of an S+ physical-strength alien.
No matter how you looked at it, she was doomed on the planet Bexiali.
First: She wasn't just any married woman. She was a princess consort, the wife of Prince Xianzhe. If a member of the royal family disgraced themselves, the king could sentence them directly to the gallows and have them executed in public. And she was only a commoner princess consort.
Second: If you were caught in bed with a vile alien, there were only two possibilities: either you admitted to being his wife, or you became a corpse.
Yi Qiaoxian didn't want to die. She'd just made a little mistake by not being careful.
Luckily, this alien had lost his memory and didn't seem to have developed much intelligence.
Still ruled by his animal instincts, he didn't even know how to tuck his tail away. Yi Qiaoxian immediately burst into tears and slapped him, her eyes red as she demanded, "Is this how you treat your own wife?"
Nuo Shizhong was instantly dumbfounded. "What?" "Wife?"
He had no idea what this soft, fragrant, beautiful woman in front of him was talking about. He wanted to comfort her, and instinctively reached out to touch her, but she angrily slapped his hand away and called him "shameless." At least he understood that.
...He remained half-convinced until, over the course of their life together, he gradually learned about human society. He learned not to wash his face with his wife's underwear, how to find a balance... and how to care for his wife. He even gave up his savage, charging-about bad habits.
But then he noticed that his wife was coming home later and later, and sometimes even linked arms with other men. He confronted her.
His wife told him that being a princess consort was just a job, and that the man was her servant. She was often away because she had to earn money to support him.
Her eyes were red, her face full of heartbreak. Shizhong panicked, overcome with guilt. He slapped himself twice, apologized over and over, and tried to comfort her. He even gave up his right to sleep for a whole week before she finally forgave him.
Then one day, someone told him that he was just one of Yi Qiaoxian's "lovers." Prince Xianzhe was her husband, and if they'd lived two hundred years ago, he would have had to perform the formal rites of a concubine.
And Yi Qiaoxian's true love was Que Rong, the top commander in the interstellar fleet, who was also her first love.
He'd been deceived.
The immense shock brought his memories back.
What wife...? Yi Qiaoxian, you heartless woman. He remembered everything now.
He was worse than the other man: he was the fourth!
He had once hidden his identity and followed her as a royal spy, only to stumble across her rekindling things with an old flame. Faced with the choice of reporting her or keeping quiet, he chose to threaten and bully her, and she stabbed him for it... He was the king of the aliens, an unacknowledged illegitimate son. He envied his older brother for having her, but clearly she wasn't a good wife.
Since Yi Qiaoxian was determined to become queen, he would seize the throne. So what if he was an alien? So what if he was marrying for the second time? The people of Bexiali would still have to bow down and acknowledge him as king, and Yi Qiaoxian would still have to become his wife, wouldn't she?
Bonus scene:
One day, Nuo Shizhong had a fight with Yi Qiaoxian. This time, he chose to leave home in protest. He'd make her see what it was like to have no one beside her at night!
The evil dragon, acting like he'd left but secretly keeping watch, was like: Staring at his wife around the clock, waiting to see her worry, grieve, and regret...
He never expected a snake to suddenly show up at home, and his wife even picked it up and carried it back, looking heartbroken as she said, "Shizhong, how did you end up like this?"
Hey, are you kidding? He's a dragon! How does he look anything like that ugly snake?!
The evil dragon's heart shattered, but no one heard his cries.
Yi Qiaoxian fed the little snake every day, gazing at him with such a doting look.
A few days later, the evil dragon couldn't take it anymore. One night, he threw the ugly snake out and shrank himself into a little dragon to take over its nest.
The next day, Yi Qiaoxian picked up the little snake and her eyelid twitched. "Huh? Why have you gotten so fierce?"
The dragon's sharp fangs sank into her arm. "Yi Qiaoxian, you know everything, so stop pretending!"
Only then did his wife pat his head and innocently ask, "Are you going to run away from home again?"
Xianzhe, the official husband, was like: "My wife is irresistible. I know how many eyes in and out of the palace are coveting her. They tempt her, seduce her, flatter her, shamelessly and without limits... but none of that is her fault. I've thought about locking her up so I could keep her all to myself, but she loves her freedom so much. I'm afraid of seeing her cry, and I don't want her to be unhappy. A husband should be considerate and generous. It doesn't matter if she betrays me, as long as she's happy."
Que Rong, the other man, was like: "Back then, I fought tooth and nail on the battlefield, thinking I'd earn a glorious military record and marry her in grand style when I came home. But when I returned, she already had someone else. She said she was greedy for wealth and status, and through her tears, asked me to forget her. I resented and despised her on countless nights, but I knew that someone truly obsessed with money wouldn't have dated a poor guy like me for seven years. No matter what, we were each other's one and only first love. Having loved each other sincerely was already a rare blessing."
This blurb only covers the romance. I haven't written about the plot, which is visibly very twisted. Check the pinned comment.
Other
After thinking it over, I realized I shouldn't make a definitive promise, so for now the male lead is Nuo Shizhong. For now, mind you. This is an atypical betting-pool novel. (The three male candidates: Shizhong, Xianzhe, and Que Rong.)
(This is not an NP story, and there are no NP scenes.) Why atypical? Because I'm telling you the odds outright...
Nuo and Qiaoxian: 80%, Xianzhe and Qiaoxian: 19%, Que Rong and Qiaoxian: 1% (OMG, I hope I don't bet wrong ^-^)
Content warnings: Lots of original worldbuilding, younger brother stealing older brother's wife, the heroine has a sexual history while the male lead is sexually inexperienced (both are faithful in body and mind), and all the usual warnings that come with forced romance. The nonhuman characters aren't twisted enough, not as good as spicy cabbage, QAQ.
Note from 2026.1.28: Screen-recorded and saved.
Theme: Positive energy
