The Jiang family of Shangjing is the last family of practitioners on This Shore who can cultivate all disciplines. As the current head of the Jiang family, Jiang Huasheng is also a key official in charge of death and an important figure in maintaining the balance between This Shore and the Other Shore. Naturally, his duties keep him busy all year round.
During a mission, he encounters a mysterious person with the same objective, only to discover that it is his lover, who supposedly died twelve years ago.
When Jiang Huasheng demands an explanation, the other person pretends to be dead.
Lan Ruhu: "Who are you?"
Jiang Huasheng sneers. "You don't remember? Do I need to restore your memories for you?"
Lan Ruhu: "..."
What a tragic man. He only came back to show off his loving relationship. He never intended to save the world.
A strong-minded, abstinent, devoted, handsome top VS a handsome, strong, tragic bottom with Oscar-worthy acting skills.
CP: Jiang Huasheng (top) x Lan Ruhu (bottom)
Also:
1. This story involves three worlds: the human world (This Shore), the ghost world (the Other Shore), and the Void Realm.
2. This is not a professionally researched supernatural story, nor is it a substitute-lover story.
3. Flashbacks are interspersed throughout. The tone is light, with no angst (hopefully, I won't have to eat my words).
Theme: He just wants to come back and show off their love.
