Shen Zhiyin, a young relative living with her maternal grandparents, has a secret:

She suffers from a strange illness that can only be eased by cuddling up to someone.

Her cousin Pei Heng is her betrothed, promised to her since childhood. He's a dashing playboy surrounded by beautiful women, yet always maintains proper manners with her.

He ruffles her hair. “Zhiyin is still a child.” Then he turns around and embraces a voluptuous beauty.

That is, until Shen Zhiyin hears him drunkenly sighing outside a pleasure boat: “Marry her? She's as timid and dull as a rabbit. I have no choice.”

She falls into the water in a panic and suffers a high fever and nightmares.

When she wakes, her memories are muddled. Barefoot, she wanders into a quiet chamber and crashes into a man in a dark robe, still steeped in the smell of blood.

“Cousin,” she sobs, rubbing against his bloodstained fingertips. “Hold me...”

Pei Chen looks down at the delicate hand that has willingly curled into his palm.

“Look carefully. Who am I?”

With tears clouding her eyes, she presses closer. “You're my cousin.”

*

Later, the whole clan praises the eldest young master for his kindness in “looking after” his sickly young cousin in his younger brother's place.

He conducts himself impeccably and attends to every detail. If the tea on her desk goes cold, he even summons someone to replace it.

Only Shen Zhiyin knows that when night falls and no one is around, the stern, cold-blooded man in power locks the study and strokes the nape of her neck. “Didn't you want to be held?”

“Why are you crying? Isn't this exactly what you asked for: a proper, legitimate chance to be intimate?”

Beneath his fine clothes, his desires are bottomless, as deep as an abyss.

Only then does she realize that her secret is nothing at all compared to his.

*

When Pei Heng finally comes to his senses, he kneels in the pouring rain and begs to see her.

Shen Zhiyin is nestled in Pei Chen's arms as he leisurely straightens her disheveled clothes.

Thunder roars outside the window.

He bites her earlobe and chuckles.

“Be good, and tell the person outside...”

“Whose name were you calling just now as you trembled?”

[Important Notes]

· A sweet, soft rabbit with muddled memories x an older, stern, traditional patriarch with a high sex drive

· Both leads are pure and devoted. This is a self-indulgent kink project, not a story about a strong female lead or court intrigue. Both leads have a very good time.

· The male lead is no good guy. He's an older man who's genuinely wicked but very good at pretending otherwise. He's extremely patriarchal, and his possessiveness, controlling nature, and every other desire run high.

· Our girl has come of age. She's delicate, timid, and innocent, but not clueless and has thoughts of her own. At heart, this is a sweet story of mutual love and willing devotion.

· The second male lead and the heroine were only ever verbally promised to each other, and even that promise was fake. They were never married and never had an actual marriage. He'll try to win her back, but his ashes will be scattered.

· Romance-focused, with a very high concentration of romance and almost no plot. Please think twice before reading if this isn't your thing.

Adorable airhead beauty x fake ascetic, real master of the art

Princess Zhaorong Zhao Rongrong is driven to desperation when the Khitan demand her hand in marriage. After poring over every romance novel she can find, she finally comes up with a brilliant plan.

Find someone she can't marry, and stage a wedding that can never take place.

She sets her sights on Xie Zhishui, the leader of the Qingxu Sect.

Rumor has it that the sect leader is breathtakingly handsome, but indifferent to women, calm as still water, and devoted to a life of ascetic cultivation.

Zhao Rongrong is delighted. Perfect!

She forges a marriage contract overnight, storms the Qingxu Palace, and tearfully declares that the Three Pure Ones appeared to her in a dream and ordered her to marry the sect leader.

Xie Zhishui sits cross-legged on a meditation cushion, holding a horsetail whisk, his eyes lowered and his face as cold as frost.

The little princess is thrilled inside, but puts on an even more pitiful expression. She refuses to leave his Taoist quarters and sashays in front of him every day.

He closes the door, so she climbs through the window.

He chants scriptures, so she props up her chin and watches.

He retreats three paces, so she closes the distance to one.

The colder he acts, the more at ease she feels. This wooden man really lives up to his reputation, she thinks. Her virtue is as safe as a mountain.

Though sometimes, a few things seem strange.

She's been staying in the Taoist quarters for a while now, and every morning she wakes up with either sore hands or a sore mouth. Sometimes she even has red welts from mosquito bites.

She mutters to herself in front of a bronze mirror, wondering why the mosquitoes in the Taoist quarters haven't attained enlightenment and still come to feast on her flesh.

The little princess doesn't think much of it.

When the envoys finally leave, she happily packs her things. To make sure she keeps up the act until the end, she tearfully bids Xie Zhishui farewell, lamenting their ill-fated connection while secretly thinking, Goodbye forever, you awful blockhead.

But someone grabs her wrist in a tight grip.

She turns around. Xie Zhishui is looking down at her, his face as cool and immaculate as ever. Yet he lifts a finger and opens the collar of his Taoist robe. On the side of his neck, red marks overlap with bite marks, an indecent sight.

Xie Zhishui's voice is as clear as jade, unhurried and calm. “Your Highness, you indulged yourself every night, and now you're leaving just like that. What about my chastity?”

The little princess is struck as if by lightning.

How could that have happened?

The little princess cries very loudly.

Not just today, not just here, and not just while fully dressed.

*

Later, Zhao Rongrong finally realizes what happened. Eyes full of tears, she tries to push him away and cries angrily, “I thought you were supposed to be an ascetic!”

Xie Zhishui bends down to kiss her swollen lips. “Your Highness, the Qingxu Sect... doesn't forbid marital relations.”

What?

Waaaah!

She was tricked! So badly!

┄┅┄┅Coming Soon: After Seducing My Aloof Imperial Brother┄┅┄┅

Two-faced, obsessive crown prince x timid, stammering princess desperate to survive

Ji Ning's life has been truly difficult.

Her mother died young, she never won her father's affection, and she endured countless cold stares while held hostage in a foreign land. She grew into a timid little stammerer who speaks softly, with a tremble in her voice.

When she comes of age, her homeland brings her back only to send her off to marry a tyrant who takes pleasure in killing.

Ji Ning doesn't want to die.

She has no choice but to grab hold of a lifeline.

She chooses her elder brother, the crown prince Ji Shuo, praised throughout the court as noble and refined.

*

Crown Prince Ji Shuo is disciplined and courteous, astonishingly gifted, and bright as the moon in the clouds. All six kingdoms praise him as a future enlightened ruler.

At the banquet held to celebrate Ji Ning's return, she once saw him from afar, seated above the others in incomparable splendor.

She thinks that if she can win even the slightest bit of his protection, she might find a way to survive.

*

Unfortunately, His Highness the Crown Prince is gentle and proper. He politely accepts the snacks and sachets Ji Ning sends him, but nothing ever comes of it.

Her wedding date is drawing near. Since her imperial brother has no intention of helping, she'll have to find another way. She starts asking about the tyrant's temperament and learning ways to please him, hoping she might earn a sliver of a chance to live.

That night, she returns to the palace exhausted, only to recoil in horror when she sees someone sitting by her bed, sniffing her undergarments.

The usually refined and elegant crown prince looks up. All the warmth in his eyes has vanished, leaving only a heavy, dark expression.

“Rather clever, Ningning,” he says gently, but with an unmistakable obsession. His cool fingertips touch her cheek, press into her lower lip, and kindle an endless fire. “Could you let your imperial brother see what you've learned?”

*

When they first met as children, Ji Shuo held her hand and patiently listened to her halting whisper: “B-Big Brother...”

Years later, Ji Shuo pins her fingers between his and waits for her to call out again and again, overcome with desire: “Big Brother...”

She only wanted his protection, but his desire had already become insatiable.

[They are not related by blood]
