Who Exactly Is Your Husband?

He Xiaozhou's husband was a sickly man.

His in-laws watched his belly day after day, but it remained empty.

One day, He Xiaozhou overheard his mother-in-law saying that if he still failed to produce an heir, they would sell him to a human trafficker.

Terrified, He Xiaozhou pushed open the door to the eldest Sheng brother's room in the middle of the night. Tears streamed down his face as he pleaded, "Eldest Brother, please, just do me this kindness and give me a child."

Sheng Beiqiu had married a young husband for his younger brother, hoping the marriage would bring him good fortune.

He was a delicate, pretty boy, timid and shy, in need of protection at every turn.

Yet one day, this very boy was bold enough to climb into his bed, all for the sake of finding a reason to stay with the Sheng family.

Sheng Beiqiu gave him that reason.

That night, He Xiaozhou cried until he was utterly spent, but Sheng Beiqiu had no intention of letting him go.

From then on, they worked at it day and night, putting their backs into it.

He Xiaozhou got what he wanted, but after using Sheng Beiqiu, he ran away and deliberately began keeping his distance.

Sheng Beiqiu simply tied him to his side, then pointed at the sickly Sheng Nanchun on the bed. "Take a good look. Who exactly is your husband?"
