Yin Yihuai was a junior colleague at Jiang Qizhi's company whom he rarely crossed paths with. He died saving him.

On the seventh day after the funeral, Jiang Qizhi woke to a ghost pressing down on him. He assumed the ghost couldn't rest in peace, so he did whatever it asked, even unwittingly helping it catch quite a few other ghosts.

But it seemed this ghost had become attached to him.

He asked a Taoist priest to drive it away.

That night, it pinned him down and whined, "Honey, don't abandon me."

He slung his arm around a coworker's shoulders during the day.

That night, the ghost wrapped itself around his waist and said, "Honey, don't look at anyone else. Look at me."

Thousands of girls in the audience called him "husband" at his concert.

That night, the ghost murmured in his ear: "Honey, do you like being called husband?"

Jiang Qizhi couldn't help howling at the sky: Whose lost husband is this male ghost, anyway? Come get him already!

He'd thought it was just a homeless, wandering spirit. He never expected it to have a connection to his junior colleague, Yin Yihuai, who had died young.

When people online shipped him with Yin Yihuai and he didn't take it seriously, he clearly heard a sigh of relief.

It was the first time he'd heard the little ghost make a sound.

When he cried over falling in love with the late Yin Yihuai, he saw the ghost reach out, its hand a phantom trying to wipe away his tears.

Later, the sounds the ghost made changed from noises to whispers murmured against his ear.

He heard the ghost say to him:

"A-Zhi, if loving me hurts too much, then stop loving me."

But Jiang Qizhi said:

"Yin Yihuai, didn't you want my love? I'll give it to you. Come back."
