This Really Is Your Child!

Young college student Lin Wenshu wakes up one morning and discovers he's become an obscure, washed-up celebrity. He's in the hospital for some reason, and a little kid is sitting by his bed.

The kid opens with, "Dad."

Dad? Who? Me?

Even more shocking than learning he'd failed at his career and ended up broke is discovering that he's not only broke and unsuccessful, but also single and raising a kid. His own biological kid, at that.

After punching himself eight times in a desperate attempt to pass out, to no avail, he scrambles out of the hospital and starts looking for the kid's other dad.

Luckily, the other dad is easy to recognize. The house is full of his photos, including pictures of the three of them together. There's no doubt he's the kid's dad.

Even better, the other dad is a three-time Golden Award-winning actor, a perennial star of the silver screen, and absolutely loaded.

For the sake of the kid's financially secure future, Lin Wenshu bravely makes his move. He finds a way to get in touch and tactfully asks how the other man feels about raising the kid.

But the other man doesn't seem interested in raising a child, and looks at Lin Wenshu with utter confusion.

Luckily, Lin Wenshu has plenty of nerve and determination.

A rejection doesn't faze him. He adds the other man as a contact and sends him photos of the kid every day without fail, sharing every little joy in their daily lives.

Finally, one day, the other man gives in and agrees to raise the kid, and Lin Wenshu along with him. He even arranges a time for the two of them to move in.

Their happy life as a family of three is just ahead.

Then, on moving day, Lin Wenshu finds an adoption certificate beneath his broken mattress.

...At last, he remembers.

The kid isn't his biological child, and the family photo of the three of them was photoshopped. He's simply a die-hard fan of the actor, and he likes filling his home with pictures of his idol.

Which means the actor has absolutely no connection to him. In this whole affair, he's just an unlucky guy who's been roped into taking responsibility for a child, all while being bombarded with photos for no apparent reason.

And Lin Wenshu is really good at editing photos. When he was desperate for money, he worked as a photo retoucher and became the shop's top seller.

His skills are so good that he even fooled himself.

His hand trembles as he holds the adoption certificate. He nervously calls the unlucky guy and urgently takes back a son.

1. One-on-one romance, happy ending. A stubborn mule with endless energy and nothing else versus an unlucky guy who suddenly gets a son, only to have him taken back

2. An alternate setting where technology can assist with reproduction, but there is no male pregnancy in the story

3. An alternate setting. Please don't apply real-world adoption rules, because in reality the bottom wouldn't qualify to adopt, haha
