[#Pseudo-incest. The blurb ends in Chapter 1. This is the cultivation journey of a proud little peacock.]
Ruan Zaiyang always knew his elder brother treated him as a substitute for Wen Qisui, his own younger brother, who was as elegant as moonlight and as graceful as an orchid.
So he took the opposite path:
Wen Qisui was upright and proper, so he acted like a careless rascal. Wen Qisui wrote with precise, proper strokes, so he let his brush run wild. Wen Qisui slew the White Snake, so he chased dogs and chickens...
But when the day finally came for Ruan Qian to leave with Wen Qisui, Ruan Zaiyang finally got his wish: no one would be there to keep an eye on him.
And then he began to regret it.
He wanted to ask what all those years of turning his life upside down had meant to the other man, but the words wouldn't come. Instead, he let his stubbornness crumble and pathetically hoped the other man would stay.
Who would have thought Ruan Qian would remain unmoved, saying only, "Whatever Wen Qisui wrote in the letters he sent me, since you destroyed every one of them, recite them to me word for word."
Ruan Zaiyang stared blankly.
He really had never once looked at him properly, from beginning to end.
1. This story is about a beautiful shou and a beautiful gong.
2. The story may be roughly eighty percent plot and twenty percent romance. It focuses more on the gong's growth.
3. Both leads are devoted only to each other.
(This blurb was written years ago and is a bit of a mess. I'll revise it when I start planning the story properly, qwq.)
Theme: Live well.
