Fu Wenzhao raised Fu Ning, giving him the most luxurious clothes, food, lodging, and transportation, along with the strictest lessons and guidance. He molded this unruly little beast into a soft shape, then devoured him completely.

It didn't matter if Fu Ning resented him or hated him. He knew full well that if you wanted to caress a hedgehog, you had to be ready to get pricked.

Fu Ning never knew what he really was to that old man. A burden? A disobedient little beast? Or just a tool for release at night?

Whether he submitted or resisted, Fu Ning always ended up getting everything he wanted. Only later did he realize that this did not include a way to escape Fu Wenzhao.
