What Is It Now, My Little Lotus?

Princess Wansheng Zhaozhao has two secrets.

Her first secret is that, after being reborn, she still remembers some things from her previous life as a human.

But that's not a big deal. The short, ordinary life of a middle schooler can't compare to the fun of being a Dragon King's princess!

Her second secret is that, while out doing good deeds, she found a friend: a little boy with a red topknot.

Zhaozhao's new friend is wonderful in every way. He's cute and delicate, strange-tempered but easy to please, and chauvinistic yet easy to fool. The only thing that bothers her is that this kid loves to brag!

Years later, when he really does make a grand entrance in the sky with an army of a hundred thousand heavenly soldiers and generals, Zhaozhao realizes Nezha wasn't bragging. He's truly Nezha, the Third Prince, a heavenly general, the strongest lotus sprite in the Three Realms, the nightmare of the dragon clan, and Princess Wansheng's childhood friend.

After growing up into a dragon, Princess Wansheng often sighs at this terrifying truth: "Nezha, back then I used to pull your hair and insult your dad, and you never even pulled out my tendons. I really have to thank you for holding back and sparing my life!"

Nezha, Third Prince (glowering version): "What are you twisting around?! You were the one who kept bullying me. I never even fought back for real!!!"

Reading guide:

There are only a few Journey to the West storylines. Most of this is about childhood friends growing up together, with a couple's everyday life that goes from pulling each other's hair to fighting over the blankets.

The pairing: A confident dragon girl who thinks, I'm a dragon, the world is mine, and everything revolves around me, x an explosive, domineering Third Prince.

There are lots of personal additions to the original lore, since this is about childhood friends constantly bickering. If that bothers you, please click away. Thanks for reading.

Thanks so much to all my dear readers for your support! The novel will go VIP this Sunday, January 18! After that, there will be daily updates. I'll take time off if needed, and make it up with extra-long updates afterward! =v=

Theme: Healthy competition helps everyone improve together.
