I'm Sakata, Setting Sail to Find My Family!

If you were reincarnated into a world of anime and manga one day, wouldn't you be overjoyed?

"But what if you were born into a family full of poverty, strawberry milk, Weekly Shonen Jump, and, damn it, an aging single man?

Wouldn't it be completely reasonable to leave home and make your own way in the world, when you have a useless old man who is bound to get late-stage diabetes, go bald, and develop a beer belly by middle age, and you're also facing the daily pressure of paying rent?"

As Sakata Ichigo said this, she clenched her fists and pondered gravely. "And don't you think watermelon milk is the best, not strawberry milk?"

Ace, one of the listeners, suddenly grew serious and asked earnestly, "Ah, sorry. Is there some crucial difference between strawberry milk and watermelon milk?"

Deuce, another listener, yelled at the idiot captain in front of him. "Ace, are you stupid?! This woman just ran away from home! Come help me build the ship! I've been stranded on this island without food for days, and I'm starving to death!!!"

"Didn't I share the strawberry milk I stole from Gin with you? You're quite the glutton, aren't you, eyepatch guy?"

"Hahahaha, actually, I'm a little hungry too."

"Oh, if the captain's hungry, then I guess we have no choice. Captain Ace, you can have the other half of this expired fruit. Don't be shy."

"Thanks, but you can't eat this expired fruit a second time. Also, calling me captain so soon is kind of embarrassing!"

Deuce: …

First of all, that's a Devil Fruit!

And secondly, go die!!!! Is it really okay to set sail with this pair of idiots!?

A pirate stranded on an island, two pirates squatting on an island, and three pirates setting sail. Sitting on a rickety wooden raft, Sakata Ichigo earnestly told this story to Ace, who sat across from her. She didn't notice that the black-haired, freckled man opposite her had already fallen fast asleep, blowing a snot bubble. Of the three of them, only Deuce was actually rowing.

Deuce: …

"Hey! If you've got the energy to tell stories, Sakata, get over here and row!"

"What are you saying to this great ship's illustrious first mate, eyepatch? Watch out, I might slip and send you into the sea to become Sea King poop!"

"Who's eyepatch?! My name is Deuce! And when did you become first mate?!"

The three of them bickered as they set off across the sea, one carrying a dream, one full of questions, and one with the most important thing of all: strawberry milk!
