A Gentleman’s Promise

It was a novel I read many years ago and I loved it very much at that time. If someone asked me what my favorite novel was, I would definitely answer this one without hesitation. Many years have passed and it should still be vivid in my memory. I still remember some key plots. When I relive it again, I recall the uneasy feelings at the time. Whether it was Jiang Zhi, Xu Yihao, or Su Cuo's Go, there are many regrettable points. Rereading it again, although the story is not perfect and there are many unfinished things in the novel, reading this wonderful story again makes me have endless aftertaste. I really like the character created by the author, and I also like Su Cuo. I hope she can be happy in a place where I can't see her.

100 Questions about compatibility between husband and wife have become the tears of the times [Heartbreak]

There is no such thing as a female academic hegemon that I like, and many times I treat things like an ostrich and avoid things like the heroine.

I remember that I first learned about Su Cuo's story when I was in elementary school. At that time, I loved playing the Orange Light game on the computer. Later, I followed the protagonist and found this novel, only to realize that the book was actually so old. I was very moved. I remember when I saw this story for the first time, I just thought there was nothing wrong with it. I liked Su Cuo the most. Now I suddenly revisited it n years later. Perhaps it is due to the huge difference in thinking and cognition. I even find it very depressing, for a reader who likes Su Cuo. The story is undoubtedly bloody. But except for Su Cuo, Liu Fei and Ying Chen, I hate everyone in this article. The very arrogant Xu Yihao and Chen Zijia, the very sick Su Zhi, the very speechless Mi Shi and Lin Zheng, and the very inexplicable roommates and Yang Xue. I haven't seen anyone here truly respect Su Cuo. No one. They say they love her, but they don't even know the birthday of the person they love, her daily life, her thoughts and ideals, and no one wants to know them. How could I meet such a group of people? Like a debt collector, begging for love from Su Cuo, but only caring about whether it hurts to be rejected. Have you ever thought about whether people like you or not, and what obligation they have to take care of your wounded heart? That Xu Yihao is like this, and that Chen Zijia is even more disgusting. He and Mi Shi behave like a couple, but turn around and say that they like Su Cuo, and they are just sisters. This brother Su Zhi is even more inexplicable. He loses his temper at every turn, and it's all his fault. Yang Xue and those classmates are even more hateful and hateful. Do you know how serious bullying is? Mi Shi is a murderer, but because of her family's power, she went abroad to enjoy her life without receiving any punishment. The most painful, tiring and aggrieved part of the whole story is the heroine. Those people tried their best to get all the benefits from the heroine without any retribution. Instead, they pretended to be close relatives and friends of the heroine and sucked her blood. I am undoubtedly angry when I type so many words. When I was a child, there was a touch of moonlight in my heart, but when I grow up, it turns out to be so heartbreaking. I don't mean to criticize the author or enforce laws across time and space. I'm just very sad and disappointed. However, I still hope that Acuo can live happily in a parallel time and space that does not exist, with his favorite physics, stay away from those blood-sucking people, and live happily alone.

This is the second time I have read this book and I am deeply touched. It's been ten years

I realized this article is older than me

If you don't understand this novel, stop shouting. Even if you don't like what the author worked so hard to write, please give it the minimum respect!! This is a somewhat slow-burning novel. If you read it patiently, it will touch us a lot!! Stop talking about the twisted character of the heroine... Have you experienced the life and death tribulations that Su Cuo experienced? If you had gone crazy, you might have gone crazy... The environment affects people's personalities, and the author has shown this very well. Every character is growing up and has flesh and blood. It's a very real and good novel. If you don't like it, please avoid it. Don't put your poor writing and irresponsible negative points under this good article!!! Thanks!!

Why don't you quite understand when Su Cuo fell in love with Chen Zijia? It would be great if there were extra stories about the protagonist and supporting characters' personal feelings.

I can't tell you, you may not believe it. I have read this article no less than ten times. I ran to the library N times to buy it but failed to find it. Later, I downloaded and printed it myself. I took it out to read when I had nothing to do. I also recommended it to friends who are familiar with it. I like this story very much. Chen Zijia's affectionate waiting finally helped Atuo get over his heavy past, and they both ushered in a happy life - the clouds opened and the moon shined, so I hope they can be happy. It's hard to see such a beautiful and infatuated person in life, and it can only be seen in stories. Support the author.

It was actually a novel written 18 years ago. I was still in junior high school at that time.
