"The character models in this romance game are so handsome!"
At a friend's recommendation, Chang Ge downloaded a romance game, but when she opened it, she saw a chibi-style ancient figure lying unconscious on the ground. "..."
Chang Ge suspected a bug and questioned her friend's taste, but never once suspected she'd downloaded the wrong game.
She adapted quickly, though. Following the principle that "you have to raise your husband from a little kid," she put her devoted-gamer spirit on the line and started with a six-yuan first-time purchase, determined to fight for her future husband while he was still a child.
"Little one, your only job is to sleep and recover. Watch me build us a house overnight, one miracle at a time!"
"So my little one is an abandoned crown prince? Watch me give him a face-slapping revenge story!"
The game gave players tremendous freedom. Chang Ge would sometimes hold the little one's hand or touch his cheek, enjoying the sight of him blushing so hard he didn't know what to do with himself.
Then one day, Chang Ge realized she'd downloaded the wrong game, and learned that the world on the other side of it was real.
A bolt from the blue! Had she been acting like a pervert toward a real person every day?
She couldn't uninstall the game, and she'd grown attached to him. Chang Ge could only warn herself to keep things proper and focus on raising the little one.
But later...
The little figure in the game gazed at her with watery eyes and demanded, "You don't touch me or steal kisses anymore. You don't recognize me as your husband now? Are you going to divorce me?"
Chang Ge, dressed in a traditional Han-style outfit on her way to an anime convention, stammered, "But you're not my husband, little one."
"If we could meet..."
The next second, Chang Ge was standing in front of an extremely familiar palace, dressed in Han-style clothes. A man in black and gold finery walked out.
Chang Ge: ?!
