[Planned for 2027]
A player had spent eight years playing a certain PowerPoint-style game. One day, they decided to cosplay as their own character at a convention.
Considering the character's blade and their height, the player waved a hand and heavily modified the design on the spot, planning to cosplay as Hotarumaru transformed into a Time-Displaced Army soldier. To avoid going out of character, the player even stayed up for three days and nights, creating a complete backstory with every detail, from motivations to minutiae.
Everyone knew that convention entrances were hotspots for transmigration incidents. The instant the player got hold of the fizzy drink they'd bought, they transmigrated to the year 2205, Western calendar, fully equipped.
Then, looking at the now-real game System and the all-too-real gate of a wandering citadel, the plastic bottle in the player's hand burst.
All they remembered was a warm, slightly sticky liquid splashing across their face.
Fortunately, the player's carefully written character background was detailed enough to help them successfully blend into the wandering citadel. They even accidentally brought a whole group of sword warriors to tears.
As they spent more time together, the player suddenly realized that all the sword warriors thought they were insane. Only the player still believed they were a human who had accidentally transmigrated at a convention.
Gradually, however, their confidence began to waver.
Could an ordinary person wield a great sword with such skill?
Could an ordinary person have reflexes and fighting instincts that rivaled those of sword warriors?
Why did their consciousness suddenly cut out?
And... was "I" really the player? Was the thing in their hand really a plastic bottle of fizzy drink?
