Exile and Homecoming [Interstellar]

A future AU bonus story for the neighboring novel, The Lingxiao Palace Online Service Center. It stands alone, so you can read it without the main story.

The focus is on a student pursuing his teacher. It won't be very long, and can be summed up simply:

"After taking the blame for a student, Teacher Shu is exiled to a desolate planet for thirty years. What will it take to heal the wounds and tears of those thirty years between them?

The exile is over, but the soul's wandering has not ended.

'When will you let me call you teacher again?'"

The setting is a futuristic interstellar world where people live to 200, so the age gap isn't that large.

This isn't an angsty story. Neither of them did anything wrong, and they can both communicate. They just need time to slowly find their rhythm together again. I'll flesh out the blurb when I have time.

Theme: No obstacle is impossible to overcome.
