Showing Off Our Love Got Me Sentenced to Life Without a Wife

Sheng Huaixing realizes that the new intern at his company seems to know him very well.

He knows where Sheng went to college, that he has a cat named Golden Retriever, what his favorite movie is, and the date of his first kiss.

He treats the whole office to dinner, and every dish and drink he orders is something Sheng likes. Afterward, he even insists on walking him home, watching him from downstairs for a long time, thinking Sheng doesn't know.

Sheng Huaixing is a little troubled.

But he already has a boyfriend.

Qi Shixu is Sheng Huaixing's boyfriend.

A rich second-generation heir with no particular hobbies, except that his social media feed is never the same two days in a row. It's filled with posts about the love of his life, Sheng Huaixing, whom he's been with for five years.

[He's so busy with work that he got home ten minutes late today. I wanted to take him around the world, but even that was impossible. Still, he promised we'd go together after he retires. Doesn't that mean he intends to love me for the rest of his life?]

[He said there's a new intern at the office. He's really handsome. Hah, as if he could be as handsome as me?]

[Today marks our two-thousandth day together. Nothing has changed. We still love each other just as much, and I'm sure we'll feel the same on our twenty-thousandth day.]

The comments are always lively, full of envy and teasing, and Qi Shixu welcomes them all.

But this time, one comment makes his smile disappear, and he no longer feels like posting about Sheng Huaixing.

[Thanks for helping me get to know him. I finally kissed him today. It was just as sweet as you said. (This reply has been deleted.)]

P.S. The shou isn't perfect. Read with caution if that's not your thing.
