I'm at the Kamado Estate, and I'm a Quack

CP: Goldfish, a child-rearing story

--

Born with the stigma of being an ill omen, Tsugikuni Yoriichi found warmth and stability at the medicine shop. Its owner, Yayoi Joushin, was not human, but Yoriichi regarded him as a beloved elder and mentor.

Unwilling to part from Yayoi, Yoriichi sailed east with him. An accident struck along the way, and they were separated.

Alone, Yoriichi embarked on a long journey to find Yayoi.

He could not say when it began, but Yoriichi developed special feelings for Yayoi.

Whenever Yayoi cried, Yoriichi was at a loss, unsure what to do.

He ached with longing through summer and winter alike. Only seeing Yayoi could ease it, if only a little.

Theme: Diligence can make up for lack of talent; the early bird gets ahead.
