After Hagiwara Returned from the Infinite Game

[Chapter comments are open, so feel free to speak your mind (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡]

Hagiwara died and joined an infinite game.

After clearing the game, he returned to the real world.

Except... he came back with a few extra fluffy little problems.

What should he do? If he sees Matsuda like this, he'll get beaten up, right?

Since he couldn't reveal that he'd come back from the dead, Hagiwara took his gaming partner's advice and returned to his old line of work (that is, information brokering), opening a bar in Tokyo.

His gaming partner was a senior member of a certain dark organization who was planning to go independent and eagerly invited Hagiwara to join him.

Then Hagiwara spotted two of his long-lost classmates from the police academy at his partner's workplace.

Hagiwara: ...

Is it too late to say he and Gin aren't actually close?

Bourbon & Scotch: Then explain how you can not be close and still casually flirt with Gin by touching his hair! And you call him Gin!

Gin gave a cold laugh, grabbed the long-haired sniper who'd come with them, and turned to leave.

He couldn't be bothered to get involved in the tangled grudges between certain former police academy classmates.

What should you do when you see your childhood friend back from the dead?

Matsuda: Obviously, punch him!

What should you do when your childhood friend comes back from the dead as a fox spirit?

Matsuda: Obviously... give him a good ravishing!

Remembering the guy who'd changed species and now ran away whenever he saw him, Matsuda felt his anger surge higher and higher.

Without realizing it, he kept rubbing the fox ears that had sprouted from Hagiwara's head.

He had to admit, they felt pretty nice.

Mini-scene 1:

After turning into a nine-tailed fox, Hagiwara's life didn't change much. It was only a tiny bit more troublesome to bathe, a tiny bit more people confessed to him, and... he was a tiny bit clingier.

Matsuda pulled the fox tail that had somehow wound itself around his wrist again and draped it over his own waist. "Don't get in the way while I'm building my model!"

"You're the best, Matsuda!"

Hagiwara wrapped his arms around his childhood friend from behind and rested his fluffy head on his shoulder.

Mini-scene 2:

After surviving the infinite game, Gin had also fused with a few inhuman elements.

Rye thoughtfully pinched his nemesis-lover's pointed ear. "So, are you an elf now?"

The jade-white tip of Gin's ear involuntarily flushed crimson. Gin slapped his hand away. "Keep your hands to yourself!"

An elf's body was far too sensitive!

[Reading tips:]

1. Apologies for any out-of-character moments.

2. Main pairing: Hagiwara/Matsuda. Secondary pairing: Gin/Rye/Gin.

3. The pacing is on the slow side. If the characters seem stupid, it's definitely because the author is stupid.

4. Gin and Vermouth, and Shuichi and Akemi, have been together before. Shuichi and Akemi are cousins. Hagiwara and Gin are partners. Gin joined the game because of Hagiwara; the details will be explained in the story.

5. Hope you enjoy reading!
