Can a Pretty Little Mute Be Cherished Too?

Self-persuading, mature CEO type x beautiful, insecure, obedient little mute

Big bad wolf x little white rabbit

Xu An is the Mu family's mute fake young master. Apart from his pretty face, there's nothing remarkable about him.

After the Mu family takes back their real young master, Xu An is kicked out.

Starving and freezing, he is taken in by the chairman of Lingxiao Group.

Seeing the huge villa with its own garden, Xu An naturally assumes he's been kept as a lover.

The man treats him well. He gets lots of beautiful clothes, and receives plenty of presents on his birthday.

At a party, when the Mu family's real young master bullies him, the man tells Xu An to hit back!

At night, the man holds him close and murmurs "Baby" over and over in his ear.

Xu An begins to waver.

So even a little mute can be cherished in someone's hands?

Ling He is a business tycoon, powerful and influential. A single stomp of his foot could send Lincheng's financial world trembling.

But no one knows he has been secretly in love with a young man for more than a decade.

For that young man, he started with nothing, went abroad to build a business, and step by step created his own business empire.

Who could have imagined that after he returned home, the young man would not only forget him after a high fever, but also be bullied mercilessly by the Mu family?

Seeing the thin, fragile boy curled in his arms like a frightened little rabbit, Ling He feels his heart ache.

It's all right. He will use his love to put An An back together, piece by piece.

[Bonus Scene]

Later, Xu An finally learns to speak.

The boy curls up in Ling He's arms like a little rabbit, awkwardly following him as he practices speaking.

"An An," Ling He corrects his pronunciation.

Xu An struggles to open his mouth. "An... An An."

Ling He continues teaching him. "Love."

The word is a little difficult. An An laboriously repeats it: "Lo... love."

"Big brother."

That one is easy to pronounce, and Xu An learns it at once. "Big brother!"

Ling He smiles faintly and kisses the boy between the brows. "Big brother loves An An too."

Xu An immediately pouts and stammers, "D-don't bully... the mute."
