Liang Mao is a simple, kind-hearted good man.

That's how everyone who knows him describes him.

Qi Feng is a good-for-nothing who lived off his mother's wages before she died, then lived off her compensation afterward.

Even he describes himself that way.

"Good man" Liang Mao becomes "good-for-nothing" Qi Feng's tenant, helping him keep living the easy life of lying around and counting money.

But one day, Qi Feng suddenly says to Liang Mao:

"You're too good to me. You're so good that I have to convince myself to treat you twice as well before I dare accept your kindness."

Liang Mao's head spins from all the back-and-forth about being good to each other. But Qi Feng is happy to do it, and it doesn't hurt anyone.

So he lets him.

And then...

They kept being good to each other until they got together,

and kept doing things until they did it.

But Liang Mao is happy with that.
