Days in Love with Fuji

After transferring to Seishun Academy, Natsukawa Yuzuha thought her biggest challenge would be her studies. Little did she know that her greatest challenge would be the genius who was always smiling with his eyes narrowed: Fuji Syusuke.

Yuzuha felt they were worlds apart. Fuji was like the moon in the sky, something she could only gaze at from afar.

But later, Yuzuha saw Fuji Syusuke without the “genius” facade, and discovered who he really was: gentle, yet devilishly sly...

Fuji held out a cookie to share, smiling so innocently he looked harmless. “It’s a new recipe. I’m pretty confident about it. Want to try one?”

Remembering Fuji’s unusual tastes, Yuzuha hesitated to take a bite.

“I spent a long time making it.”

Yuzuha summoned her courage and took a small bite. The spicy flavor she expected never came. Instead, she tasted rich, sweet honey.

She opened her eyes in surprise and met Fuji’s blue eyes, brimming with amusement.

“Huh? It’s actually sweet? You put wasabi in your cookies.”

Fuji reached out gently and brushed a crumb from the corner of her mouth with his fingertip. His touch was tender. “If I keep picking on you, you might really start to hate me. Every now and then, I have to give the little cat a treat.”

He paused and leaned a little closer, a hint of mischief in his voice. “But it really was fun watching you look ready to die just now.”

“Fuji Syusuke!”

The girl angrily grabbed a cookie and shoved it into his mouth, hoping to stop his teasing.

Fuji obediently ate it, then took hold of her wrist. At the edge of the cookie where she had just bitten, he took a bite from the exact same spot.

Her face turned bright red in an instant.

He narrowed his eyes. “Mm, just as I thought. Very sweet.”
