After finishing a mission to detect mental contamination waves, she points at Qin Zhiting's six-year-old daughter, who comes running over happily. "Qin Zhiting, you hate me so much, yet you had a daughter who looks just like me. That's rough."

For the first time in front of Tang Xian, Qin Zhiting loses her composure. She picks up the little girl and storms off, spitting out viciously, "Tang Xian, why don't you just die?"

Tang Xian thinks she'll be at odds with Qin Zhiting forever.

That is, until an accident leads her to stumble upon Qin Zhiting, who's suffering through her heat.

Qin Zhiting, who usually won't even look her in the eye, now crawls into her arms of her own accord, pleading in a trembling voice.

Unable to stop herself from drawing closer, Tang Xian catches the scent of her own pheromones lingering on the sweet swelling at the back of the Omega's neck.

A mark that's been washed, but not completely washed away.

Tang Xian freezes. "Qin Zhiting, what is this?"

As their pheromones entwine, the world spins around them.

Reading Guide:

1. Amnesia trope. During their periods of amnesia, both the A and the O have lovers or have started families, but neither is legally married. Both are pure.

2. The A has no attachments. ABO in a cyberpunk setting.
