You Are Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang, and You Took Hong Chengchou by Force

Second person | Strong woman takes a man by force | Beijing socialite’s kept man | Male lead suffers

You are Xiaozhuang.

One day, your husband Huang Taiji comes to your chambers and asks you to persuade a captured Han official to surrender.

You don’t want to, but Dorgon is still hiding under your bed, so you agree to his request.

At Sanguan Temple, you meet your target, Hong Chengchou.

He is refined and fragile, like a crane with a broken neck, his pride shattered.

He is nothing like Huang Taiji or Dorgon.

Suddenly, you’re intrigued.

Hong Chengchou has always felt that he is different from other men in the Empress Dowager’s heart.

She never considers him a turncoat. She trusts him, favors him, and entrusts the new emperor to his care.

He falls for her, step by step.

Until he discovers that from the very beginning, she has been hunting him.

All she wants is to break his pride and watch him beg at her feet.

He asks the Empress Dowager to let him resign and retire to seclusion.

She looks down at him coldly.

“Do you think you can escape me?”
