The Sickly Beauty Makes a Debut While Pregnant

Jing Chen is a little star, stunningly beautiful and aloof,

but he's cold-tempered, frail, and has heart disease, panting after every few steps.

His career is at a low point, and his group has disbanded.

After a fashion banquet, he accidentally spends a night with his ex-boyfriend of three years, Sheng Yunsi.

Sheng Yunsi used to be an actor and a film emperor.

Three years ago, he abruptly left the entertainment industry to inherit the family business,

transforming into the fourth young master and heir of the Sheng family, a global luxury fashion conglomerate.

Rumor has it that the Sheng family's fourth young master is a playboy,

wild, a troublemaker, and a womanizer.

Even after their breakup sex, three years after they split,

Jing Chen has no intention of getting back together with him.

Faced with the resources and opportunities offered by the fourth young master of the Sheng family,

Jing Chen would rather turn around and work as a theme park NPC,

then make his comeback through his own efforts.

After fainting for the Nth time in the scorching heat at the theme park,

Jing Chen is taken to the hospital, where he discovers he's pregnant.

But he's cut off all contact with Sheng Yunsi.

Two months later, major news comes from the Sheng family's official website:

all their former spokespeople have had their contracts terminated, leaving entertainment fans stunned:

"That's the third termination announcement in a row this month!"

"Haha, the copywriting is so practiced it's heartbreaking."

"Those spokespeople were already surrounded by scandals..."

"It's just Young Master Si taking over and a changing of the old and new guard."

Another month passes, and Jing Chen receives an invitation to become the sole global ambassador for the Sheng family's luxury brand.

One day, backstage at an awards banquet, Jing Chen says coolly:

"Sheng Yunsi, you're just my client."

As soon as the words leave his mouth, he's pinned forcefully against the dressing room door.

Then a burning palm settles on the slight swell of his belly beneath his oversized coat:

Sheng Yunsi: "Then whose is this, hmm?"
