The Nohara Family Has Both Cats and Dogs Today

With seventeen years left on the mortgage, Nohara Himawari got into Tokyo's Nekoma High School.

Before she left home, her father cried and told her, "Himawari, you absolutely mustn't let some bad high school boy sweep you off your feet, sob sob sob... High school boys have the filthiest minds! Make sure you keep your distance!"

Nohara Himawari didn't listen at all.

Before saying that, her dear father should take a good look at his own philandering older brother.

At the time, Nohara Himawari had just come through an unrequited crush that had gone nowhere. She wasn't interested in such worldly matters for now, and only brushed off her father's warnings.

That is, until she arrived at Nekoma and saw a shy cat with his head bowed, playing a game.

His eyes shone brighter than her favorite gems.

On her first day at Nekoma, Nohara Himawari tried to approach a cat with gradient-colored fur.

On her second day at Nekoma, Nohara Himawari got to know the gradient-colored cat.

On her third day at Nekoma, Nohara Himawari and the gradient-colored cat joined the same club.

On her fourth day at Nekoma...

Nohara Himawari (praying): Dad, I'm really going to let you down this time.

Himawari, who loved handsome boys and shiny things, resolutely began her pursuit of the boy she liked.

According to Kuroo, the master who looked like a seasoned player, if she wanted the cat to walk right into her trap, she had to use the right bait. In short, first they had to make it through the Spring High tournament.

Nohara Himawari (fist raised): Okay!!!!

So, did Himawari manage to catch the cat today?

Before you read: This is a crack pairing, with Kenma as Himawari's love interest. Yes, Himawari is that Aoi-san (thumbs up). This version of Himawari carries on from The Bride Who Transmigrated Through Time, and she'll be an international police officer.
