After I Played with and Abandoned the Sickly Prince

A spoiled, dazzling young lady x a prince who seems gentle but is actually a lovesick yandere

The husband chases his wife after the breakup, forced love, mutual obsession

Shen Mingshu, the eldest daughter of the Shen family in the capital, is dazzling and bold, spoiled and willful. After causing a string of serious troubles in a single month, she is sent by her furious father to a small town in Jiangnan to learn some restraint.

As soon as she arrives, she sets her sights on Xie Yunze, the "frail young nobleman" leaning against the railing and admiring the scenery, his features gentle and refined.

With her spoiled nature, she sweet-talks him, clings to him, and spends lavishly, pursuing him with childish, blunt gestures. To her surprise, she really does win Xie Yunze's heart, and the two pledge themselves to each other amid Jiangnan's misty rains.

But the novelty soon wears off. Shen Mingshu grows tired of his "gentleness," leaves him a letter, and slips away without a word, returning to her carefree life in the capital.

She never imagined that an unexpected imperial decree would betroth her to Prince Jing, a man whose power eclipses all others at court. And Prince Jing is none other than Xie Yunze, the "frail young nobleman" she abandoned.

When they meet again, he has shed his gentle disguise. Dressed in a prince's robe, he exudes authority, and his eyes hold nothing but possessiveness that cannot be quelled.

On their wedding night, Xie Yunze grips her wrist tightly. His voice is gentle, but edged with menace. "Since you've provoked me, Mingshu, don't even think about running away again."

From then on, Shen Mingshu becomes Prince Jing's captive.

He pampers her with every luxury, keeps her under lock and key with his power, and lets his yandere nature show whenever jealousy takes hold.

A spoiled, clueless young lady and a prince who seems gentle but is really a lovesick yandere.

Premise: Love may lie beyond mountains and seas, but they can all be crossed.
