[JX3] How Is My Honest Business a Shady Deal?!

My name is He Xian. I have a job that keeps me fed and clothed, with enough to get by.

It can support the Beggar's Sect helpers I've picked up, and the little disciple I forcibly took in, too.

But my junior brother says what I'm doing is a racket that harms people, and insists I shut up shop before it's too late.

I'm not happy about that.

My friends and family say I shouldn't be doing this kind of thing. It doesn't fit my image, and it's a little scary.

I'm not convinced, either.

People in the jianghu say it's no wonder I was kicked out of Ten Thousand Flowers Valley. My business is no different from the work of a great villain, so I must have secretly joined the Valley of the Evil.

Huh?

I'm even less convinced by that.

I'm a respectable person, okay?

That said, I never meant for my business to hurt my junior brother or my friends and family.

But somehow, they all ended up hurt by it.

My name is He Xian. I run a shop. Tell me your story.

I got into this after shipping couples while playing Jian Wang 3 in my teens. The writing style and story are both things I came up with as a kid, and I'm posting them here as a keepsake.

This is a series, and this is the first story.

I crammed too much into five thousand words, so it's a little rough. I'll turn it into a series when I have time.

Theme: Love can overcome any hardship.
