Sometimes it looked like a teenager, and sometimes like a grown man. But no matter what form it took, it always had a pair of very handsome dragon horns and a dragon tail.
Hagiwara Kenji had always thought of it as an imaginary friend from the dream world. The adaptable police academy student soon accepted this unusual arrangement.
Even if it was only a dream, it was still a dragon! Wasn't that incredibly cool?
That was, until Hagiwara Kenji graduated from the police academy and became a bomb disposal officer on the front lines.
At a bomb disposal site, the countdown on the bomb before him suddenly started ticking backward without warning.
...There was no way he could survive.
After reaching that conclusion, he turned and ran, only to be scooped into the arms of his imaginary friend, who appeared out of nowhere.
He was glad he hadn't died, of course, but...
If his imaginary friend was real, then what about all the things he'd done in his dreams...?
Haha, why is my police ID flashing? Is it about to grow wings and fly away?

The dragon is from the world of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, with some original interpretations of dragon abilities.
