Ji Yue was the legitimate eldest princess of the Great Wu Kingdom. She surpassed her half-brother princes in both literary and martial arts, yet her father had never considered passing the throne to her.
Even after losing a battle to an enemy kingdom, her own father actually planned to send her there to marry for peace.
After the decree was issued, everyone assumed that no matter how wronged Ji Yue felt, she would still take on the responsibility of a princess and willingly marry into the enemy kingdom for the sake of her country and its people.
But Ji Yue had never been the sort to let others push her around, even from the moment she was born.
If her father was an incompetent emperor and not much of a father, then all she had to do was find a new emperor for the realm.
Ji Yue planned to raise an army in rebellion the day after the decree was issued, with the private soldiers she had secretly gathered. But just then
A thing called a System suddenly bound itself to her.
[Helping every dream come true: Princess, as you raise your army in rebellion, you are about to activate the Sect Cultivation System.]
[Bind the Sect Cultivation System, and you can command the entire nation without deploying a single soldier.]
[Princess, your journey from here won't be limited to a mortal kingdom. It will take you across the stars and beyond.]
[Keep pressing forward toward your goal of establishing the number one sect under Heaven!]
