[Hello, everyone! Please read the Reader's Guide before deciding whether to read this!]
[Main story completed on December 26, 2025; the entire work completed on January 4, 2026]
Before Douma appeared, Ling Yin had always believed that her teacher was human.
"I'm a demon." As calm as ever, her teacher offered no explanation.
On a freezing winter's day, her teacher asked if she wanted to go with him. She said yes.
And now, as she walked toward him, the beautiful fairyland the Demon Slayer Corps had told her about was no longer meant for her.
Reader's Guide: Kokuushibou and Ling Yin's ending follows the original story, and it's a little heartbreaking, so please don't read on if you can't handle that. I'll give some hints about the plot: Upper Ranks Four and Five will be defeated, then Kokuushibou will go to the Infinity Castle, and after that, the story follows the original ending.
But the story will continue, following the process of her wounds healing. Ling Yin's final romance will be with Giyu, for about ten chapters, so please don't read on if you can't accept that. Also, the vast majority of the story is about her romance with Kokuushibou. That is definite, without a doubt.
(I was worried this Reader's Guide might affect everyone's reading experience and feel like a spoiler, but after thinking it over, I decided to include it.)
(Once again, thank you so much for your support, dear readers. I couldn't have kept writing this far without you. Thank you, everyone!)
My next novel will be Surviving Naoya Is No Easy Feat. If you're interested, please add it to your collection!
Blurb:
A fragile yet resilient little flower x a feudal-minded young master who says one thing but means another
Ruri was physically frail and had no cursed energy. While trying to avoid being shoved around by others, she accidentally wandered into an elegant, lavish courtyard.
A young man sitting above her stared down at her, seeming displeased by her intrusion. She immediately dropped to her knees and begged for mercy, filled with fear.
The attendant beside him whispered something. Ruri thought she was about to be met with a harsh scolding and punishment.
But the young man simply said, "Is that so? Then let her stay here with me."
When she moved into the courtyard, Ruri learned from the others that the young man was Naoya, the heir of the Zenin family.
From that day on, Ruri's life changed completely. She struggled to survive in the courtyard that belonged to Naoya.
After managing to live to the age of eighteen, Ruri thought she might be able to get through life peacefully. But then someone told her she was going to be handed over to another man as part of a political marriage.
She huddled in a corner, despairing over her future.
The door opened. In the light from outside, she saw Naoya, his face expressionless.
Naoya stopped in front of her, his shadow completely engulfing her. He looked down at her tear-streaked face. "Do you even know what kind of thing you're going to marry?"
"A hideous, despicable good-for-nothing who beats women." When Ruri didn't respond, Naoya continued in a low voice, telling her about the fate that awaited her.
Ruri thought her life was about to end, but Naoya, who had once helped her when she was little, came to her rescue again.
"Do you understand now?"
"Only by staying at my side..."
"Will you be safe."
Ruri of the Zenin family disappeared just before her arranged marriage. Those who went looking for her discovered that their young master had taken her away.
To Naoya, Ruri was like a thin layer of snow on a branch: pale, fragile, and soft.
[Reader's Guide:]
1. Naoya's personality will change because of the female lead, and he won't be so haughty.
2. There is an important original male character.
3. Happy ending.
Theme: Live life earnestly
Yuyu and Lingyin should always be happy! My wife should always be happy!!! It's great to bring such delicious articles! Feifei thanks my wife very much for the hospitality 🤗
I have gone back and forth to delete and write reviews several times, but my eyes always get wet before I finish writing. I started crying uncontrollably from the last moment when they were playing together. The heroine's thoughts are too delicate, and it is easy for people to feel her pain. Afterwards, her emotions brought tears to her eyes. I hope there will be a side story with Hei Shimo in the future, whether it is Demon Slayer Academy or Nanke Yimeng, I always want to have something to look forward to. I always feel that the heroine's tough character comes from others' expectations of her. Her sensitive and soft heart allows her to distinguish whether her parents and Hei Shimo really love her. She carries the expectations and blessings of those who truly love her along the way. She is the kind of child who will respond to love. This is her "hope" for the future life, which is the reason why she is delicate and sensitive in her heart and mentally tough. I hope there will be a happy side story with Hei Shimou.
Brother, let's have a bloody battle with Wu Mei in a different position. I really want to see you fight Wu Mei.
Wuhan is so disgusting... This extra episode is so cruel to Suzune...
