The God-Slaying Bow

Unofficial blurb:

Once upon a time, there was an ordinary sword cultivator named Zhou Min. Softhearted, she picked a child out of a pile of corpses, and also took in a white python that never bit, no matter how much she poked it.

A very, very long time passed. Zhou Min became a god, the child grew into a youth, and the white python still hated moving, bouncing whenever it was poked.

Many years later, the child Zhou Min had raised became a god, too. The disciple she had raised shot her from the heavens, destroyed her body, and shattered her soul. The white python saw everything and rushed forward to take the final blow for Zhou Min, then transformed into human form on the spot.

That should have been the end of the story.

All in all, another thousand years passed.

Once again, snow fell thickly over the desolate far north. On the road to the Tower of Sinners, a dying mortal boy opened his eyes.

Zhou Min: Well, look at that.

Someone: My heart was set on the bright moon, but the moon shone on a muddy ditch instead.

The moon: ?

The ditch: ?

Theme: Life is all about starting over.
