The Blind Men and the Elephant: A Sequel

At a small-town festival, several animal friends who had argued before over the story of the blind men and the elephant start arguing again over a new object: an old radio.

The little rabbit feels its square casing and says it is a “hard box.” The little fox hears a voice coming from inside and insists it is a “magic cave that talks.” The little bird lands on the antenna and thinks it is obviously a “prickly iron branch.”

When none of them will give in, the clever little monkey suggests, “Why don't we put together what we've felt and heard?”

In the end, with one another's help, they “see” the complete form of this thing called a “radio” for the first time, and learn the power of cooperation and listening.

Theme: Learn to listen and work together, and you can see the whole picture of the world.
