Mido and Her Little Emotion Monsters

Mi Duo has been feeling so frustrated lately.

She seems to have turned into a little volcano ready to erupt at any moment. She gets mad when her best friend touches her eraser, when she can't do her homework properly, and even when Mom asks one too many times, "Are you hungry?"

What's even stranger is that she's noticed all sorts of odd little creatures showing up around her:

A little red fire dragon that puffs smoke at her all day, a blue teardrop-shaped blob that makes it rain at the slightest provocation, and a gray moth that keeps buzzing in her ear: "Careful! Danger! Hide!"

Mom says it's called "growing up," and Dad says it's "managing your emotions."

Mi Duo just wants to shout, "Can somebody do something about these little monsters?!"

Until one day, a mysterious voice speaks in her ear:

"Hey, don't chase us away. We're here to help you."

This is a story about nine little emotion monsters.

It's also the story of a nine-year-old girl learning to be friends with herself.

Theme: Every child's heart is home to a whole bunch of adorable little monsters.
