I'm Sorry, Officer Gao Ming!

Hayakawa Ayano, a high school girl whose parents had both died and who lived with relatives, was inevitably short on money.

Luckily, she was fairly pretty, and there was never a shortage of boys pursuing her.

And for a pretty high school girl, the quickest way to make money was, ahem.

As far as she knew, quite a few girls at her school did this... enough to be known all over Nagano Prefecture...

She wasn’t really against it. She just hoped the guy wouldn’t be some weird old man. She could think of it as dating an older boyfriend. Older men knew how to treat you well, right?

She registered on an app and filled out her profile. Sure enough, someone contacted her and arranged to meet her at a cafe.

When Ayano walked in, she saw only one man in the entire cafe. He had a little mustache, and looked about the same age as the person she had been chatting with online.

Thankfully, he wasn’t some weird old man. He actually looked pretty handsome...

Ayano secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Morofushi Takaaki was enjoying a rare day off, reading a book over coffee, when a high school girl suddenly sat down across from him.

At first, he assumed she was just hitting on him, though the girl was rather young. But as he listened, something began to feel off.

Was she mistaking him for... that kind of date?

A couple with a huge age gap!

They first meet three years before the start of Detective Conan, when the heroine is 18 and Takaaki is 32.

They officially start dating in the first year of the Conan timeline, when the heroine is 21 and Takaaki is 35!

The heroine’s parents are dead, and her relatives don’t care about her. She doesn’t have much of a moral compass, so Takaaki will have to give her a serious talking-to!
