Western Crossover: The Text-Adventure Girl in Gotham

At first, Mia had merely clicked on a recruitment page for [Visual Novel Game Testers].

It said:

Easy part-time work, meals and accommodation included, simple game content.

The test server included:

Romance adventures, light puzzles, raising and interacting with characters, a large open-world map with a high degree of freedom, storylines with multiple NPCs, all orientations, choose your role, and an enormous amount of text.

Hiss... Mia rubbed her chin. This all sounded way too familiar.

So she clicked [Sign Up].

So she clicked [Start].

And then...

Wait... why is this a mishmash of palace intrigue, child-rearing, cultivation, combat, farming, and a System?

And... why is it in Gotham!

.

Batman realized that a suspicious person had appeared in Gotham at some point.

More specifically, this person could change faces right on the street.

One click switched her appearance, including her facial features, outfit, and race.

...Even her art style.

Wait, her art style?!

He found an opportunity to approach her and test the waters. A line of tiny text appeared in his field of vision.

[You have a conversation with [Mia] and discover that she seems [not particularly scheming].]

Batman: ???

.

Jason had also noticed that someone like this had appeared in Gotham at some point.

That person who called herself Mia took it upon herself to get to know him, then took it upon herself to say she wanted them to become [partners in crime].

After that, she took it upon herself to stuff him with junk every day.

[[Mia] gave you [Joker's Crowbar x100]. Your emotions undergo a [subtle shift].]

Jason: ???

.

Damian volunteered to track down this suspicious character.

At last, he cornered Mia.

Mia sneered. "My scheming level is over 999 now. Are you sure you want to challenge me?"

Damian froze. "What do you mean, 'my lady'?"

"Oh, wrong script. Sorry." Mia hurriedly corrected herself. "Are you sure you want to challenge me?"

Damian drew his katana and sneered. "Come on. You can't defeat me."

Then he saw the line of tiny text in front of him.

[[Mia] has challenged you to a showdown!!!]

Damian: ?!

[Checking your [palace intrigue] power... Check complete. Result: [0]. You have lost the showdown and been defeated by [Mia]!]

Damian: ???
