After Being Parasitized and Turning into a Monster

Blurb:

In the year 1045 of the Star Era, pollution worsened, and creatures across the world began undergoing sudden mutations.

Lou Yang was an ordinary employee at a smart toy store. After receiving an anonymous letter of recommendation, she was invited to become the dedicated mechanic for the Special Defense Force.

On Lou Yang's first mission with the team, they won a resounding victory. After the celebratory banquet, she returned home and opened the door. A dense mass of blue rings filled her vision...

Sticky, soft tentacles wrapped around her legs and waist, then tightened around her neck until she couldn't call for help.

Lou Yang thought she was doomed, but against all odds, she survived. A mutated blue-ringed octopus had parasitized her.

After being parasitized, Lou Yang couldn't control herself. Every so often, she would turn into an octopus monster sprouting tentacles. She locked herself inside and refused to see anyone, then resigned to her captain.

The day after she quit, a guest arrived at her home: Guan Jue, captain of the Special Defense Force's First Squad.

Also... Lou Yang's ex-girlfriend.

As a mechanic for the Special Defense Force's First Squad, Lou Yang lived in constant fear every day. She was terrified someone would discover she had been infected and parasitized, and even more afraid that person would be Guan Jue.

Because Guan Jue would surely kill her.

In the end, she was discovered. The cold, merciless captain of the Special Defense Force's First Squad stared fixedly at the octopus tentacles emerging from Lou Yang's back, her eyes bloodshot.

That was the first time Lou Yang had ever seen her so frightened that she trembled and wept.

Guan Jue secretly kept a monster. The monster claimed she wanted nothing to do with her, yet its newly grown tentacles wrapped frantically around Guan Jue's legs and waist, as if desperate to leave marks all over her.

She caressed the monster's tentacles and met its pair of icy, deep-blue eyes.

"They're much more honest than you are."
