Can a Straight Shooter Get a Happy Ending? (One Piece)

Also known as "How Am I Supposed to Pursue Someone with a Steel Defense Wall?"

Pairing: Beckman x a steel-straight woman

The heroine is the ship's steel-straight woman. Her special skill is fighting (?).

When Beckman tries to invite the heroine to enjoy some wine alone~

Heroine: "Vice Captain, has the boss been making too much trouble lately? Is all that stress building up? Could it be... you want to spar with me? I'm fine with that, but I just finished Snake's training. How about... I rest a little first?" (sympathetic look)

Beckman: "..." (An inexplicable ache in his heart, and a sudden weariness.)

P.S. The heroine does get flustered by some of Beckman's casual gestures. But since she's so incredibly straight, she unconsciously chalks it up to a normal reaction (lol).

P.P.S. Everyone on the ship knows Beckman is interested in her. Everyone except the heroine.

Note: A complete short story in second person.

A round of applause for a certain someone who kept their good deed a secret and loves watching the chaos unfold.

Theme: Love is beautiful~
