(Gintama) Everyday Life at the Odd Jobs Gin

As the proprietress of a newly opened dessert shop in the streets of Kabukicho,

I was fretting over the mountain of renovation supplies in front of me

when Otose, who'd come to visit, grabbed me by the back of the collar and shoved me into the Yorozuya upstairs next door.

“I've brought you a job. Might as well get these idiots to help carry your stuff,” she said, puffing on her pipe.

The man with the natural white perm grumbled, “That old woman always dumps troublesome jobs on me,”

but still accepted the commission.

The afternoon sun streamed through the freshly cleaned windows.

I prepared some little treats for the Yorozuya trio to thank them.

As I watched the profile of the natural-permed man smiling as he ate a strawberry daifuku,

I suddenly thought

that maybe opening a dessert shop on this noisy street wasn't such a bad idea.

Heroine: The proprietress of a dessert shop. She seems quite familiar with Otose, possibly an old acquaintance (?). Before opening, she asked the Yorozuya to help fix up the shop, which is how she met Gintoki.

Hero: Gin, the natural-permed, utterly dessert-loving president of the Strawberry Parfait Association, Toki

There is more to come, but updates are irregular.

Theme: Mature adults should have the courage to take responsibility
