Plot:
In the Federation's Fifth District, two places are infamous:
The Fifth District Prison. The Fifth District Psychiatric Hospital.
Both places hold serial killers. One group has been convicted on irrefutable evidence; the other has been convicted despite inconclusive evidence.
Even in the Fifth District, a slum rife with all kinds of people and controlled by gangs, these two places still strike fear into everyone's hearts.
Then one day, the news reported an internal conflict and prison break at the Fifth District Prison. The situation was still unclear.
The Fifth District Psychiatric Hospital, the director's office.
Ning Buzhou glanced up at the news from behind her desk, then lowered her head and continued leafing through the medical records in her hands.
She let the mechanical announcement in her ear mingle with the news anchor's voice.
"A crime scene has been detected within 500 meters. Please have the [Cleaner] player proceed to clean up the scene."
Romance:
Seven years ago, sixteen-year-old Ning Buzhou was sentenced to life imprisonment by the Federation Court and locked up in the infamous Fifth District Psychiatric Hospital.
Charge: suspected serial murder.
Seven years later, she looked at the man across from her. Back then, he had been a rookie in the Special Incident Investigation Team assisting the court's investigation. Now, he was the team's leader.
She couldn't help curling her lips, as if she'd heard something funny.
"What do you think they can do to me? And what do you think they dare to do to me? Hmm, sir?"
"I stay silent because I know silence leaves more room for the imagination than a defense does."
"For example, wasn't it my silence and composure that made you imagine a story about a vicious noble boy teaming up with others to bully a commoner girl?"
She shoved him against the cabinet beside them with a loud bang.
Her right arm pinned him by the throat as she warned him in a low voice:
"So mind your own business, sir."

1. The female lead is extremely vengeful and kills without batting an eye. She has a weak sense of morality, so read with caution if that's not your thing.
2. The male lead has no supernatural abilities. Male-lead fans, beware.
