[Recommending an ongoing daily-update story, currently updating every day. A melodramatic, cathartic story, not angsty.]
(Go easy on me, I just want to write a mindless feel-good story. Female-dominated settings tend to get serious.)
[After Marrying Up, I Was Seized and Possessed by My Ex]
Lin Qingyun wants to marry into a prestigious family and live a comfortable life, so she breaks off the marriage to a poor scholar arranged by her late parents and successfully seduces the third young master of the Cui family. She enjoys two years of wealth and comfort.
Who could have guessed that her former fiance, whom she'd rejected, would rise to power with the help of a patron? Upon returning, he has Third Young Master Cui arrested and thrown in prison, all to force Lin Qingyun to divorce him.
"Should I call you Madam Cui now, or Miss Lin?" Those are the first words her former fiance says when they meet again. He toys with a handkerchief patterned with clouds.
She embroidered it.
Of course, he took it off Third Young Master Cui.
Lin Qingyun's scalp prickles. "Do as you please, Lord Pei."
"I think I'll call you 'my lady.' It sounds more intimate. What do you think, my lady?"
[If you actually want to read about a powerful heroine, the next story is starting soon.]
[Please Bless Me to Pass!]
A post-apocalyptic adventure blending a wasteland future, cyberpunk, and dystopia
The year is 2984. The surface has become uninhabitable after long-term pollution, and the world has been artificially divided into three parts: underground cities packed with refugees, an uninhabited surface, and sky cities inhabited by a select few.
Ying Xueyu wakes up in an underground city.
She has no money, no place to live, and not even her memories.
The three big questions of life, who am I, where am I, and what should I do, are all staring Ying Xueyu in the face now.
But then...
The latest full-dive game, [Sand in a Box], opens for players. This time, players will be drawn from both the underground cities and the sky cities. The winner will receive permanent residence in a sky city and a cash prize totaling...
Wait, how many zeroes is that?!!
Well, this has absolutely nothing to do with Ying Xueyu, who can't even afford a nutrition block that comes with a lottery ticket.
Off she goes. Today, too, is another day of working on the surface, searching for ruins.
"Hey, I bought an extra one. You can have it. Pay me back when you get your wages."
That's how Ying Xueyu gets a nutrition block.
And a lottery ticket.
Congratulations, you won.
Mom, I got in! (No, wait.) I won!!!!
Mom, I'm going to be rich!!!!
[The story's blurb starts here]
An ambitious, growing young empress x a virtuous-seeming empress who is dark and twisted inside
Meng Lin originally thought she'd spend her life as a wealthy idler. While her mother ruled, she was her mother's most beloved younger daughter. When her elder sister, the crown princess, took the throne, she would be the sister her elder sister loved most.
But within a year, her elder sister dies of illness, and her mother is so grief-stricken that she too falls gravely ill.
As her mother lies dying, it is Meng Lin she summons.
Her mother asks, "You want the throne too, don't you?"
She doesn't dare say it.
Of course she wants it.
Her mother has already written her name into the edict of succession.
But she's only just turned seventeen. She has no power base, no advisors, and no military command. How can she secure the throne?
On a stormy night, as her mother lies dying, Meng Lin uses the timing to seize the throne first. But even after her accession, she has no peace. First, her elder sister's faction controls the imperial guards, leading to a coup during the funeral rites. Then her elder brother uses a natural disaster as an excuse to raise a rebellion.
Facing threats from within and without, she has no choice but to accept the empress's counsel: win over the aristocratic clans by taking in consorts, and use both the knife and the honeyed word to deal with her enemies. But after she takes care of her siblings, she faces factional strife among powerful ministers.
And this time, her opponent is the empress who has stood by her through thick and thin.
[Reading Tips] (Recommended: read these before starting.)
1. The story of a princess's growth, showing how she rises from having no power base to becoming a great ruler. The romance is secondary.
2. Everyone is an ordinary person with a limited point of view and their own agenda. They make moves, counter moves, and respond to one another. This is not a power fantasy where the protagonist is a mastermind who predicts everything and single-handedly dominates the field.
3. Women bear children in this female-dominated world. The heroine has romantic scenes with her harem, but she is the righteous, kind-hearted type who values order, and she treasures her primary spouse. The male lead is the unshakable empress.
4. The male lead is a supportive partner, a capable spouse who takes care of the household. His dark side is mainly directed at the harem, where he eliminates every rival.
(This is the happy-ending version of [Spring on the Branch]. You could call it the happy-ending version of [Love Between the Parents in Jinhua Moonlight] in a female-dominated setting.)
(I know I haven't written [Spring on the Branch] yet, but I will. I'll finish every story I've started. I'm going to be an author with a great track record of finishing what I start.)
(Blurb revised on 2026/02/10 and screenshotted.)
Also recommending my completed older story, [Jinhua Moonlight], about an immortal female emperor and her men.
Theme: Work hard to build a future, and stand by each other through thick and thin.
The teacher [Rose] who wrote about the empress' harem in 1v1 also had to talk about reality. How can our empress balance the court without opening a harem? Teacher, I will support you [Rose]
Did she burn Prince Ding's face on purpose? Once her rebellion fails, Prince Ding will no longer be involved.
"Princess Changning cursed in a low voice" This is a big bug for the author~Chang'an
In fact, the writing is quite good and many scenes are very graphic. Probably because there are too many characters at the beginning, the collection is small.
Evil couple hahaha, that's a bit, I'm looking forward to the extra chapter
I want to watch the extras, but I feel like I can write a lot more, Hate Hai Qing Tian
The pace is quite fast, but the heroine doesn't feel like she has grown much [Let Me Kangkang]
Why do I always feel that the female protagonist doesn't like Ziying, and the male protagonist is a bit miserable, and the person named Lu is really scheming, and the end should not be good 🐶
It looks good, but the pace feels a bit fast
As a girl, will the Empress really not give birth to uterine prolapse?
