[Hiromitsu Morofushi] Another Way to Light Up Hiromitsu's World

Fujiwara Rei was the most notorious girl at school.

Morofushi Hiromitsu was the kindest, gentlest boy on campus.

They should have been on parallel paths, but a bullying incident brought them together.

She swung a wooden stick for him, standing against the whole world.

He led her into the library and gave her a peace she had never known.

When he gave her a novel about love and dignity, Fujiwara Rei felt a fear unlike anything she had ever known.

Could someone like her deserve that book, or the person who gave it to her?

What should she choose?

Characters:

Fujiwara Rei: A prickly girl x a self-exiled guardian

Morofushi Hiromitsu: A gentle, steadfast boy x a future police officer burdened by trauma

I'm really not good at writing stories about high schoolers, so I can't write more than ten thousand words.

Youth is something you can't appreciate while you're living it. It only takes on meaning when you look back.

But that was a long time ago.
