Transmigrated to the Beast World as a Hyena Queen [GB]

After Tan Zhuye died and was reborn, she opened her eyes to find herself a spotted hyena cub on the vast grasslands.

Memories of a nature documentary she had once watched flashed through her mind. Spotted hyena clans were ruled by females, forming a strictly hierarchical matriarchal society. Females were over ten percent larger than males. She abruptly rolled over in the den, and her heart sank back into place.

She was the biggest cub in the litter!

After confirming she was female, Tan Zhuye worked hard to adapt to her animal life. She tussled and bit with her littermates, fought for the best nursing spot, learned to hunt, and sharpened her claws. She not only inherited her mother's status, but also became the leader of this small clan of hyenas through her own strength.

Under her guidance, the clan had plenty to eat and wear, and lived more comfortably than ever before.

When mating season came around again, a male hyena from outside joined the clan. He lowered his head to sniff her scent, meekly pleading for the leader to accept his advances.

Tan Zhuye agreed without a second thought, then joyfully went and mounted him.

Once, twice, three times... over and over, until the male couldn't take it anymore. He rolled over and transformed into human form, glaring with furry hyena ears atop his head. "Do you even know how to have sex?"

Tan Zhuye: "..."

Wait a minute, wasn't this the African savanna? I'd already accepted reality, so why did you turn into a human?

Turn back!

-

This wasn't Earth, but an extremely ancient and primitive beastfolk world.

Great, her knowledge could still come in handy!

Using the methods she'd relied on in the hyena clan, Tan Zhuye expanded her territory and developed more hunting techniques. Meanwhile, in human form, she advanced primitive technology. As she diligently built up her community, one handsome male after another was drawn in by the abundance of food and joined her clan.

Though they weren't male hyenas, they accepted her way of courting. When the rainy season came, they transformed into human form, their beautiful ears or tails on display, and slipped into the queen's territory.

The queen must have her reasons for doing this!
