[Upcoming story: Forced to Share Dreams with My Comatose Husband After Marriage. Blurb at the end]
A timid, honest wife x an older, fiercely possessive bad boy
After her parents died, Meng Yuan was kicked from one relative's home to another like a ball. Just after turning twenty, he registered his marriage to the person he'd been promised to as a child.
But his husband didn't like him. He despised and resented him.
Meng Yuan only wanted to live in peace. He didn't care that his husband treated him coldly or that his affair partner called the house to provoke him.
He was obedient, sensible, honest, and dutiful. But three months into the marriage, his husband said he couldn't stand Meng Yuan's dull, clumsy personality and asked for a divorce.
After the divorce, his uncles would pass him off to someone else in exchange for connections. Meng Yuan didn't want to be treated like a commodity, passed around for people to choose from, so he awkwardly tried to please his husband and begged him to stay. In return, he was cruelly insulted and humiliated.
On a night of pouring rain, his husband left him by the roadside, soaked and miserable. A black sedan suddenly stopped beside him. A familiar yet unfamiliar face appeared through the curtain of rain, like a predator that had lain in wait for its prey to take the bait.
Summoning his courage, Meng Yuan refused the offer of a ride. Head bowed, he hurried through the rain. The black sedan followed at a distance, escorting him all the way home before turning around and leaving.
Zong Xu showed Meng Yuan excessive concern more than once, but Meng Yuan never wavered and remained faithful to his marriage.
Until an unexpected car accident struck.
When Meng Yuan woke up, he'd forgotten everything and everyone. Seeing Zong Xu's expressionless face, he beamed, showing two little tiger teeth, and called out crisply, "Honey!"
The hospital room descended into chaos. Everyone told him that his husband was Lu Yuan, a plain-looking, ill-tempered man with a terrible personality and an even worse character.
Like a koala, Meng Yuan clung to Zong Xu with all four limbs. He raised his pitiful doe eyes. "You're my husband, right?"
Before Zong Xu could answer, tears began to patter down Meng Yuan's cheeks. Sobbing, he pleaded, "Honey, don't leave me. I don't want to go back with that ugly bully."
Zong Xu turned a cold face toward the furious Lu Yuan beside him and issued an ultimatum. "Divorce."
Meng Yuan happily followed his "husband" home. His husband had to feed him, change his clothes, and even keep him company while he slept.
When his memories returned, Meng Yuan was in Zong Xu's arms, being kissed. He pushed Zong Xu away in horror, covered his swollen lips, and started crying, looking utterly pitiful, as though he'd been forced.
The next moment, a jumble of memories flooded his mind. He remembered clinging to Zong Xu and calling him husband, insisting on going home with him and asking him to take him to the civil affairs office to divorce Lu Yuan. Then, right after divorcing Lu Yuan, he'd gone to the window next door with Zong Xu to register their marriage...
Meng Yuan felt as if the sky had fallen. With tears in his eyes, he apologized to Zong Xu.
Zong Xu gazed at him tenderly and held out a hand. "Baby, come here."
Meng Yuan instinctively shook his head and even took a step backward. Zong Xu pulled him over with a cold expression, bit the soft flesh of his cheek, and warned him, "I'm your husband. Just try going back to that bastard. I'll break his legs."
He can't bear to scare his wife, but he's more than happy to beat up the homewrecker.
Upcoming story
Blurb: A vain, beautiful, universally disliked wife x an older, brooding, possessive daddy
Lou Yu had nothing but a pretty face. His twisted personality and resentment of the world were the result of his childhood environment. Still young, he was already drowning in debt, and everyone around him avoided him like the plague.
Then the Ying family chose him to marry their comatose eldest son, and Lou Yu escaped his misery, settling into the good life of climbing the social ladder, getting rich, and outliving his husband.
His good fortune didn't last. One night, he suddenly dreamed of his husband, Ying Qi. Ying Qi praised his beauty and cuteness, said he was exactly to his liking, and promised they'd spend their lives together.
So frightened was Lou Yu that he wanted a divorce the very next day. But his in-laws told him the debt the Ying family had paid off for him would be transferred to Ying Qi. Once he paid it back, he could leave.
Lou Yu had no money and could only stay despite his fear. That night, he experienced sleep paralysis and was tossed around in his dream. Ying Qi's chilling voice kept ringing in his ears. "Wife, you can't escape me. No matter where you run, I'll find you."
The first thing Lou Yu did when he woke up was check on Ying Qi in the next room. He was still an unconscious vegetable. Lou Yu thought his guilty conscience had given him a nightmare.
Who knew the same thing would happen the next night, then the third and the fourth, and in different ways night after night for a whole month?
At his wit's end, Lou Yu was about to ask for a divorce when he was suddenly told his husband had woken up.
His mother-in-law dragged him over to introduce him. "This is your wife, Lou Yu. He's been taking care of you all this time."
Lou Yu hurriedly waved his hands, saying he hadn't done anything. But when he saw Ying Qi's eyes, he couldn't get another word out. They were exactly like the eyes in his dreams.
After her husband woke up, Lou Yu awkwardly got along with him. The only upside was that he was no longer trapped at home and could come and go freely.
He couldn't change the rotten nature of his character. It took only a few days of freedom for Lou Yu to start partying and even squandering Ying Qi's money on a kept pretty boy.
But he was too stupid to get very far before Ying Qi caught him. Faced with Ying Qi's icy expression, he raised his chin defiantly. "So what if I spend some of your money? If you can't afford to support your wife, you shouldn't have gotten married."
Ying Qi raised an eyebrow. "Wife? I don't think we've consummated our marriage yet."
Lou Yu clutched his collar and warned him, "Don't you dare!"
"Didn't we already do it in the dream?" Ying Qi looked him up and down, his gaze stopping at Lou Yu's chest. "You have a mole there."
Lou Yu was shocked. So those strange dreams weren't because he was unsatisfied. They were the work of this pervert.
The moment he started thinking about running away, Ying Qi hoisted him over one shoulder and carried him home. He thoroughly ravaged him from head to toe, and Lou Yu became Mrs. Ying once and for all.
